Highly-trained Direct Interventionists (DIs) work individually with your child to address targeted areas of need. This can include working to decrease tantrums, increase independence while setting the table, or sleeping in their own bed. We will help with what is meaningful for you.
+ PROGRAM SUPERVISION
Qualified Case Supervisors provide training and support to your family, 1 on 1 Direct Interventionists (DIs), and Parent Consultants (PCs) in order to assure we continue to provide the highest quality of intervention and that all needs continue to be met throughout any provided intervention.
+ PARENT CONSULTATION
Experienced professionals come alongside your family to help equip parents, siblings, or other caregivers in order to appropriately respond to and interact with your family member with special needs. We can “do life” with you in order to show you what to do, when to do it, and how to best support your entire family.
+ SOCIAL GROUPS
At times, skills need to be targeted with peers rather than just with a DI. Social groups provide the opportunity to work on developing social interactions with multiple peers-including those that are typically developing.
+ STAFF TRAINING
Onsite training for members of your organization (large or small) by our experts in Applied Behavioral Analysis.
Skilled behavior analysts conduct interview, observation, and assessment in order to help you identify the causes of problem behavior. Based on these causes, a treatment plan is then created in collaboration with those that interact most with the individual.
+ PARENT TRAINING
Patterns provides practical training for parents both in person and online. These trainings help empower parents by providing them with the knowledge needed to provide appropriate intervention.
+ IEP SUPPPORT/EDUCATIONAL CONSULTING
Our Clinical Team includes clinicians with extensive experience working as teachers, specialists, and administrators in public schools. We can help you navigate through your child’s IEP and school experience in the educational setting.
+ CONSULTATION TO SCHOOOL DISTRICTS
Our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) can offer support and consultation to school district staff members in order to assist in assuring that Free Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) is being provided to students. Consultation can include staff training, provision of assessments, program development, and supervision.

Allison Clifford - M.S., BCBA
Clinical Manager - Denver, CO
Allison Clifford is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who lives in Denver, Colorado. She began her career in Applied Behavior Analysis during her undergraduate education at The University of Kansas in 2006. Alli earned her Master’s degree in Counseling and Advanced Applied Behavior Analysis from Nova Southeastern University and achieved her certification as a BCBA in November of 2014.
Alli found her passion in working with individuals with Autism in the field of ABA and has applied her knowledge in a variety of settings, including homes, schools, within clinical settings and in her community. She has experience with individuals aged 2 to 20 years old and particularly enjoys teaching communication skills, play skills, and social skills. Originally from Kansas City, Alli lived in Chicago for 5 years and has been in Denver since 2012, where she loves to spend her time with her puppy outside, exploring the mountains and the city.
Katy Herman - M.A., BCBA
Clinical Manager - Denver, CO
Katy obtained her Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Elementary Education at National Louis University in 2012 and attended Ball State University earning her Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, with an emphasis on autism, completing her studies in 2015.
Katy has utilized her knowledge of education and behavior analysis to treat children in home, school, various clinic settings, while also participating in community-based programs. Katy is a certified BCBA who has worked with clients ages 3 to 22 and particularly enjoys teaching social programs, school readiness skills, and functional living skills, all of which are intended improve the lives of the children and young adults she is committed to supporting.
Katy began working with children with autism in 2008. Her passion for music and creativity was a natural fit for treating clients and she quickly saw the impact she could have on children and their families, including within her own family, by incorporating her passions into their programs. Katy is perhaps most inspired by her nephew who was diagnosed with autism shortly after she began her work with people identified as being on the autism spectrum. It is the combination of the success she has had working with clients and the improvement she has seen in her nephew that made it clear to her that working with clients somehow affected by the Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) was meant to be. Originally from a small town in Michigan, Katy lived in Chicago for 13 years and has been in Denver since April of 2017, where she loves to spend as much time as possible with her pets and outdoors enjoying the sunshine!
We work with School Districts, Private Insurance Providers, and Medicaid.
