When we noticed that there was a significant need for ABA services in the Monadnock region of New Hampshire, we knew that we needed to start a program and enable people to become aware of Patterns and the help that we can provide. We were very pleased when we moved into the previous home of Monadnock Log Homes. This location provides us with several spacious therapy rooms and a playground to support preschool-age children.

In August 2020, we expanded to a second Monadnock region location in Swanzey, where we now support clients ages 6-21.

services

+ 1 TO 1 SERVICES

Highly-trained Direct Interventionists (DIs) work individually with your child to address targeted areas of need. This can include working to decrease tantrums, increase independence while setting the table, or sleeping in their own bed. We will help with what is meaningful for you.

+ PROGRAM SUPERVISION

Qualified Case Supervisors provide training and support to your family, 1 on 1 Direct Interventionists (DIs), and Parent Consultants (PCs) in order to assure we continue to provide the highest quality of intervention and that all needs continue to be met throughout any provided intervention.

+ PARENT CONSULTATION

Experienced professionals come alongside your family to help equip parents, siblings, or other caregivers in order to appropriately respond to and interact with your family member with special needs. We can “do life” with you in order to show you what to do, when to do it, and how to best support your entire family.

+ SOCIAL GROUPS

At times, skills need to be targeted with peers rather than just with a DI. Social groups provide the opportunity to work on developing social interactions with multiple peers-including those that are typically developing.

+ STAFF TRAINING

Onsite training for members of your organization (large or small) by our experts in Applied Behavioral Analysis.

+ FBA

Skilled behavior analysts conduct interview, observation, and assessment in order to help you identify the causes of problem behavior. Based on these causes, a treatment plan is then created in collaboration with those that interact most with the individual.

+ PARENT TRAINING

Patterns provides practical training for parents both in person and online. These trainings help empower parents by providing them with the knowledge needed to provide appropriate intervention.

+ IEP SUPPPORT/EDUCATIONAL CONSULTING

Our Clinical Team includes clinicians with extensive experience working as teachers, specialists, and administrators in public schools. We can help you navigate through your child’s IEP and school experience in the educational setting.

+ CONSULTATION TO SCHOOOL DISTRICTS

Our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) can offer support and consultation to school district staff members in order to assist in assuring that Free Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) is being provided to students. Consultation can include staff training, provision of assessments, program development, and supervision.

+ 1 TO 1 SUPPORT IN SCHOOL

Highly-trained Direct Interventionists (DIs) work individually with your students to address targeted areas of need and implement the IEP with fidelity. This can include working to teach addition or subtraction, making friends, or to attend and respond to teacher directions. We work collaboratively with you and your IEP Team!

+ BCBA SUPERVISION

If you are seeking a dynamic experience in order to gain required supervision hours to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), we are glad to meet with you to discuss options for joining our Patterns Team.

We work with School Districts, Private Insurance Providers, and Medicaid.

She earned her Master’s degree from Bay Path University and has since dedicated her career to providing and supervising services across non-profit programs, clinics, schools, and home-based settings.

His professional focus is deeply rooted in early intervention, where he is dedicated to helping young learners build the essential skills necessary for lifelong independence.

Kaitlyn Brigham M.A., C.A.

Kaitlyn Brigham is a dedicated Clinical Associate at Patterns Behavioral Services, bringing a decade of experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Her commitment to serving clients is demonstrated through her work across various school districts in both Northern and Southern New Hampshire.

Kaitlyn's professional interests are diverse and client-centered. She possesses a strong passion for exploring different communication modalities with her early learners, including the use of Picture Exchange Communication Systems (PECS), sign language, and cutting-edge Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices. This focus ensures that even her youngest clients have effective means to express their needs and desires. For her older clientele, Kaitlyn is equally dedicated to fostering greater independence by teaching essential daily living skills, helping them navigate their day-to-day lives with more autonomy and confidence.

Her educational journey laid the foundation for her career in ABA. Kaitlyn first earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from Salem State University in 2016. However, it was during her student teaching practicum that she had a pivotal realization, deciding to shift her professional focus to the principles and practice of ABA. Building upon this new direction, she subsequently completed her Master of Arts degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Ball State University in 2021, solidifying her expertise in the field. This educational background, coupled with her extensive practical experience, including 6.5 years specifically with Patterns Behavioral Services, makes her an invaluable asset to the clients and families she supports.
